As an Art Instructor for City College of S.F., I have had the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of materials and projects over the years and have developed my own unique style of Surrealism. My style combines a myriad of materials to create metaphysical fantasy dreams in surreal worlds which are meant to entice the eye, calm the soul and lift the spirit. Vivid colors dance across the surface of shimmering bold ethereal scenes. You will find yourself amused and amazed as the fantasy unfolds. Enjoy those feelings as you experience each piece. Recently I’ve been experimenting with collage as a 3D component of each piece. I build out with various papers sometimes up to an inch and then weave the painting around and over this base. I also have been doing a series of seascapes with unusual plants, animals and fish.
